Eugene Castro, 81, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2024. Eugene was born May 29, 1942 in Roscoe, Texas to his parents Manuel Castro and Solidad Reyes. He is survived by his children, Sammy Castro, Debra Cooper, Tonya Phillips and their families. Also his brothers and sisters Anita Cantu, Linda Palacios, Jimmy Castro, Danny Castor and their families. Eugene had a masters degree and was a computer programmer. In his youthful life he had a passion for music and writing. Later in life he became a servant of God. He helped so many people every where he went. He will be deeply missed. We are so blessed to have been part of his life on earth. We will meet him again when we get called home. Until then his smile and spirit live forever.

We are very thankful for all the love, support and prayers. We need it. We ask that if any one wants to send or do something for the family, that y'all would consider education and awareness for this horrible disease, and make a dontion to Alzheimer's Association in his memory.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Sweetwater Cemetery in Sweetwater, Tx
