Eva Padilla

Eva Padilla went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2020 at the age of 75. She was born May 17, 1945 in Eagle Lake to the late Ascencion Bijarro and Jesse Rodriguez, Sr. She was Catholic in faith and was a bookkeeper during her working years.

She is survived by her husband Jesus Padilla;sons, Gary Ebarra and wife Vida, Donald Jason Locklier; daughter, Linda Henderson and husband David Wayne; brother, Angel Bijarro, David Rodriguez,Samuel Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, John Rodriguez, Joe Rodriguez, Manual Rodriguez; sister, Lisa Rodriguez, Mary Cumpian, Rose Rodriguez, Gloria Rodriguez;  9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents , Ascencion Bijarro and Jesse Rodriguez, Sr.;and son, Manuel Stephen Ebarra; brothers, Richard Rodriguez and Jesse Rodriguez, Jr.

Serving as pallbearers Matthew Sosa, Mark Sosa, Michael Sosa, Wayne Ebarra, Colin Locklier and Brandon Teague.  Honorary pallbearer Dylan Ebarra.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm at Eagle Lake Funeral Home with rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Tuesday at Parish of Nativity Catholic Church with Father Robert Guerra officiating.. Burial will follow at Lakeside cemetery.
