Joseph Paul Payne passed away September 12, 2023 at his residence with family by his side.

He was born March 13, 1949 in Houston, Texas to Arnold and Johanna L. Balas Payne. He was a professional dog handler.

He is survived by his wife Susan "Susie" Collier Payne; son, Joseph "Joey" Michael Payne; sisters, Johanna Payne Jones, Lucy Payne Capps, Mary Jane Payne Schumacher and husband Michael; granddaughters, Kaylahh Payne and Asheley Payne.

Monday, November 6, 2023, at

Parish of the Nativity Catholic Church with Father Robert Guerra officiating.
