Mathew Allan Ward, 28, of Austin, Texas, passed away on January 3, 2024, in Eagle Lake, Texas. He was born on February 21, 1995, in Austin, Texas.

Mathew was a kind-hearted and loving young man who had a sensitive soul. He always went out of his way to help others and had a deep love for animals. His compassion extended to all living beings, and he strived to do good in every aspect of his life.

He will be deeply missed by his mother, Teri Hostetler, his father, Mark Ward, his step father Jason Hostetler, his brother, Christopher Urban, his grandmother, Beverly Ward, and his grandmother, Janice Buchanan.

Mathew attended Katy High School, Lone Star College and Bline College where he pursued his education. In his free time, he enjoyed working with computers and taking care of his beloved cat.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Eagle Lake Funeral Home in Eagle Lake, Texas.
