Ramona Castellanos Garcia

Ramona Castellanos Garcia peacefully passed away on September 10, 2023 in Houston at the age of 88.

She was born August 31, 1935 in Eagle Lake, TX to Salvador and Luz Valdez Castellanos.  Before retirement she was manager for Fox Photo.

Ramona is survived by sons, Miguel Rivera of Houston, Desi D. Rivera of Wharton; daughters, Minerva C. Chavez of Houston, Blanca Y. Huerta of Houston, Yvette R. Rivera of Houston, Kay Rendon of Houston, Leticia L. Delgado of Columbus, Stacy S. Gutierrez of Houston, Greta M. Rivera of Houston; 22 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Salvador and Luz Castellanos; brothers, Joe Castellanos, Salvador Castellanos; sisters, Theresa Castellanos, Minnie Munoz, Christina Lopez and Mary Cantu.

Visitation will be held at Eagle Lake Funeral Home from 5 until 7 pm on Friday, September 15, 2023 with rosary beginning at 7 pm. Funeral mass will begin at 10:00 am Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Parish of the Nativity in Eagle Lake. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Rivera, Paul Rivera, Lucky Cantu, Matt Delgado, Edward Huerta and Steven Gutierrez.
