Virginia Waldrop

Virginia Annabelle Towler Waldrop, 99, of Eagle Lake, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 in Columbus. Texas. She was born on December 1, 1925 in Dayton, Texas to David D. Towler and Susan E. McWhorter Towler. She moved to Eagle Lake, Texas in June of 1951, from Baumount, Texas. She graduated from High School and was bookkepper.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Doyle, her sons; Herbert Blake and Harley Waldrop; five sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her son Kirby Waldrop and his wife Patsy of Houston; sisters Margie Smith and Bonnie Morris, and a brother Marvin Towler.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, March 7, 2025, at  2 PM in the Lakeview Cemetery in Eagle Lake, Texas

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the First Baptist Church, 527 N Lake Avenue, Eagle Lake, Texas 77434, or to the charity of ones choice.
