Willie Jones

Willie B. Jones received her angel wings on February 15, 2022 at the age of 76. She was born August 31, 1945 in Eagle Lake to the late George Tillman, Sr. and Alma T. Davis Tillman. Willie attended E. H. Henry High School in Eagle Lake. She was married to Leonard Jones, two children were born from this marriage, Jeffrey Jones and Jackie Jones. Later in life she was blessed with another son, Jon Tillman. She loved to sing, cook, watch movies and attend family get togethers.

Willie is survived by her children, Jeffery Jones, Jackie Jones, Jon Tillman; brother, George Tillman, Jr.; sister Joyce Coats along with a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 9 am Saturday, February 28, 2022 at Eagle Lake Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 11 am. Burial will follow at Rising Star Cemetery in New Town. After the burial we welcome friends and family to attend the repast at the Eagle Lake Community Center.
